Dogtoberfest: Pure(bred) Fun
Back in October, I attended Solvang, California’s second annual Dogtoberfest. I’m sure Solvang will have this festival for years to come for at least one reason: dogs are adorable. And dogs dressed in costumes are exponentially adorable. You don’t know what adorable is until you see a hot dog dog dressed as a hot dog.
[...] If you like antiquing, all things Danish, or the indie movie “Sideways,” you’ll love Solvang, a quaint little town on the Central coast of California. It definitely skews older demographically, so don’t go looking for a bustling nightlife scene.
