SSS Restaurant in Quebec

One less “S” in the title, and they’d be in trouble (unless you like Germany circa World War II), but luckily these three S’s stand for “Simple,” “Snack,” and “Sympathique” (which in French kind of means “pleasant”).  And boy oh boy, do they nail each.  No false advertising here.

Eating Poutine in Quebec City

Poutine is a dish closely linked with the culture and identity of Quebec.  Of course I had to go try some.  SPOILER ALERT: it’s really good.  Why can’t we treat poutine like Canadian comedians and import it to America?  This has got to make it down to the states.

Hotel Manoir Victoria, Quebec

Quebec City has many hotel choices, including the iconic Chateau Frontenac.  Thanks to capitalism, all of these hotels are vying for your hard-earned money.  Might I suggest Hotel Manoir Victoria?  It’s smack dab in the middle of the good stuff and has a healthy amount of amenities.  If I keep writing, I’ll just be repeating myself in the video, so why not do us both a favor and click play.

Marche du Vieux-Port Farmers Market, Quebec City

Recently, I took a little jaunt up to America’s Northern Neighbor and checked out Quebec City, which–don’t quote me on this–is most likely in the province of Quebec.  While I was up there, I shot some videos for the travel website Tripfilms with one of their hosts, Kelley.  This is the first of many videos to come about the quaint little town on the St. Lawrence.
