La Grand-Place: who knew a polygon could be so beautiful?
If you only had time to see one attraction in Brussels, go to La Grand-Place. This city square puts all other squares to shame. It’s a little overwhelming looking at it all, but a good overwhelming. It’s a type of overwhelming that happens too infrequently in life. So, when you’re there staring at the spires and buttresses, savor it, because as far as polygons go, it’s going to be hard to find a square as majestic in its architecture again.
